Election Challenge
Commit 10 hours to volunteer for a candidate.
About the campaign
For the 2023 Alberta provincial election, we encouraged everyone to be involved in the political process, and gave this challenge: commit 10 hours to volunteer for a candidate!
This doesn’t have to be intimidating at all. You can help with door knocking, hand out literature, or make phone calls. Other ways to help: assist with sign campaigns, apply to be a staffer in a constituency office, assist at candidates forums, or scrutineer on election day.
Getting involved in elections is an easy and effective way to influence the direction of politics in our nation.
In Southern Alberta
- Encouraged youth to get involved in the election by offering prizes, including a trip to Ottawa, to those with the most volunteer hours.
